This policy describes information Rentravel Rental Services uses to create customer accounts, handle rental requests and support bookings.
Information used
- Account information such as your name and mobile number. Account passwords are stored as password hashes, not as readable passwords.
- Booking information such as the selected vehicle, pickup and return times, pickup area, booking status and any notes you submit.
- Payment status and payment reference information needed to identify or review an advance payment. Rentravel’s website does not collect card or bank credentials through its booking page; Razorpay processes payments on its payment page.
- Essential session-cookie information used to keep you signed in and protect your account.
How information is used and shared
Rentravel uses this information to manage accounts, check availability, coordinate a requested pickup, review payment receipts, provide customer support and protect the service. Authorized Rentravel staff and the local rental partner handling a booking may receive the details needed to manage that booking. Razorpay processes the online advance payment.
If optional site analytics are enabled, the application may record a booking-request event with its status and pickup city. The event data in the current application does not include the customer’s name or mobile number.
Requests and questions
Contact support@rentravel.in to ask about your account information or request a correction or deletion. Some booking or payment records may need to be retained to manage a transaction, resolve a dispute or meet legal requirements.
